On one of the hottest days of the year so far, Auction Estates hosted a packed audience at the Trent Bridge Cricket Ground for their 19th June sale which raised £7,538,500 (90% success rate) with a number of record prices being achieved.
Highlights of the sale included:

Lot 1: The Friary in Newark, a multi-let business centre in Newark, was a major attraction at the auction. This property sparked substantial interest among bidders and after a competitive round of bidding, it achieved a strong sale price of £265,000.

Lot 10: Development Land, Hilton Business Park, Derbyshire. This parcel of freehold development land which had planning for a modern two storey office building was guided at £55,000+ but which saw high levels of competitive bidding and eventually being sold to an investor at £140,000.

Lot 63: West Furlong in Retford Equally significant was the sale of Lot 63, West Furlong in Retford. This property was in poor condition throughout but occupied a good position on a highly sought after road of well kept houses. Guided at £75,000+ it generated significant interest (65 people attended the first block viewing) and it saw strong bidding in the room, eventually being knocked down for a record £185,000.
