Our 26th February auction raised £6.4 Million, achieving a 83% success rate, highlighting the strength of our Live National Auction. It was great to see a busy room filled with serious buyers back at our favourite venue, Nottingham Racecourse in Colwick.
As usual we had a diverse range of properties from across the UK that attracted competitive bidding throughout. Notably we had more Proxy and Telephone bidders registered as we offered some smaller parcels of land across the UK.
Acting on behalf of Nottingham City Council, one of the strongest results came from the Former Highbury Vale Community Centre (Nottingham). Offered at a guide of £185,000+ competitive bidding in the room saw this unique freehold opportunity selling at £380,000 to an international telephone bidder.
We saw confidence coming back to the residential market post the renters reform act with 45 Church Lane Nottingham guided at £125,000+, selling for £150,000.
Showcasing our diverse selection of properties sold, Welham Hall - a Grade II listed Regency residence set within 15 manicured Acres sold successfully post auction.
The catalogue featured a number of parcels of land notably the 0.62 Acre Freehold Parcel of Land, (Devon), nestled within a residential community almost tripled its guide showing competitive bidding amongst neighbours to secure the potential development site.
A great start to the year for our clients; a mix of Local Authorities, Private individuals and corporate entities. Again, this auction demonstrated our buyer’s interest across residential, investment and land opportunities proving the competitive nature of the market for quality assets, with properties achieving premiums over guide prices where market demand is highest.
