Following the successful sale of the Mansfield Post Office in the 3rd October 2019 sale, Auction Estates have since acted on behalf of the successful bidder in negotiating the Post Office lease surrender.

The building was sold with 2 years remaining on the Post Office lease of the ground floor which would have halted the buyers plans to re-develop the building into residential apartments. Following successful negotiations, Auction Estates were able to agree an immediate surrender of the ground floor lease allowing the buyer to begin their conversion of the imposing building in Mansfield town centre.
