Registering to bid when attending the auction

The auction is due to be held on Thursday 20th June 2024 starting at 2:30pm .

If you intend to bid for a Lot in person you will need to visit the Registration Desk located at the entrance to the auction room (Centenary Suite). The Registration Desk will open at 12.30 pm on the auction day. Here you will be asked to complete a Registration Form and provide the necessary Proof of Identification (see Section 3 - 'ID Requirements' highlighted in yellow) which you will need to bring with you on the auction day.

You will then be given a bidding paddle with your unique Bidder Number for use in the auction room.

Registering to bid when bidding remotely

If you cannot attend on the day of auction you can Register to bid remotely by following the three tasks below and submitting your completed forms by email to info@auctionestates.co.uk. Please note the cut-off for Remote Bidding will be 48 hours before the auction with late entries only permitted at the Auctioneers discretion.

In order to bid you will need to do the following:-

  1. Download, complete and send back the ‘Remote Bidding’ form (see yellow box to right)
  2. Pay in advance by debit card or bank transfer
    1. 10% of the Guide Price (minimum payment is £1,000)
    2. The Buyers Fee of £1,800 (inc VAT) where the lot value exceeds £10,000 or £720 (inc VAT) where the lot value is less than £10,000
  3. Download, complete and return all forms by email to: info@auctionestates.co.uk

The Terms and Conditions for bidding are available for downloading by clicking Terms and Conditions for bidding.. Please note that if you are unsuccessful with your bid your funds will be refunded in 3-5 working days following the auction, to the original account from which funds were received. Your account details must be provided and verified before funds are transfered.
