Auction Estates have conducted a charity auction to raise much needed funds for Bleasby School as part of an authentic Indian evening celebrating the Diwali Festival of Light.

With a traditional Indian three course meal served as a buffet, an interactive Bangra dance show and a traditional Dhol (drum) player, the auction formed a lively highlight to the evening with our Head Auctioneer Paul Giles in charge of proceedings securing sales on all of the lots offered which included Spa days, luxury villas abroad, sporting merchandise and experience days and raising much needed funds for the school.

Mr Mensah, Head of Bleasby School, said "We would like to thank Mrs Suki Bhaker and Sue Parkinson for organising this event to raise much needed funds for the school. We hope to put the monies towards  a variety of projects to support pupil learning  including computing  and outdoor learning. We are very lucky at Bleasby to have such supportive parents, families and community".
